Textile Origin Story:

The pattern comes from my interior design work. I collaborated with a mosaicist to create a pattern in cut glass that would fade from an Arctic white to a Caribbean blue. I was experimenting with this pattern when I started my relationship with Katrina Young, one of the Defiance athletes. As it was very luminescent, I thought it was perfect for her. This was the first file and is very true to the actual project showcasing the ombré. I went on to create a medallion pattern and did it in two more color ways, Katrina Gold and Katrina Amethyst. Tri, I was told by my brother who formerly coached Katrina, was her nickname at Florida State.
