Textile Origin Story:

I love finding unique vintage pieces to mix with my products for photo shoots. Earlier this year I found this 70s leather patchwork jacket and shot it on my model Hannah. I was OBSESSED with this jacket; didn't haggle just bought it immediately. I ended up photographing the back of the jacket and made it into a digital textile. I created this kaleidoscope medallion which is placed based on each piece. I work with a couple ambassadors that are women Olympic divers (Katrina Young and Krysta Palmer). I really was wishing that I could take this textile and make it red, white, and blue. And truly I do love red and blue together. I went in and isolated parts of the original Stevie design and was able to work on the color until all of the patches were one of the three colors. As I already have a Katrina textile (check it out - it's pretty stunning!) I thought it was time to make a Krysta!
