Textile Origin Story:

In 2015 I took a trip to Italy with my sister, niece, and mom. In my work as an interior designer I have on several occasions been able to source marble that has not been quarried in centuries. This is always a real score creating a completely unique project.  When in Italy I was taken by the marbles that are so old that I have never seen them here even in the our oldest buildings. I took many tight close-up photos of marble in the cathedrals in Rome. I book matched these patterns and used colors like jade and magenta to give them a feeling of a modern fashion piece. I also did this as a black and white.
