Textile Origin Story:

Whit Wit is named for my sister-in-law who had one of the most gorgeous September weddings on a ranch in the Tetons! I had these photos of her on my computer with her arm around an Aspen tree holding this stunning sunflower bouquet. Recently it popped up as a memory and I sampled the bouquet and the Aspen bark to make this textile. The natural stripe it created speaks to a detail I have visited many times in my textile designs.
