Textile Origin Story:

I had this thought about working with my stars. I wanted to create a textile wherein the stars would become more concentrated and darker at the bottom; as if they were dropping from above and collecting at the bottom. I tried several versions until I got the composition right (surprisingly hard!). All along I was setting the stars against the background of the Central City pattern but I wanted it to be even whiter so the stars would pop. I wanted them to be different shades of white and gray. The little yellow stars are sprinkled sparingly and are a delightful surprise!
