Textile Origin Story:

"Spinal Cracker" is one of the pieces that I made for the Draw Me show. The intermingling of skulls, vertebrae, snakes, and insects has been present in my art for decades placing my work squarely at the intersection of surrealism and nature. The three pieces from tis series were created to conjure a nostalgia for historic etchings and the odd fantastical result of a type of interbreeding of species.
