Textile Origin Story:

In 2025 I did a photoshoot with my ambassador, Olympic Diving Medalist, Krysta Palmer. I bought this vintage leather patchwork blazer that I used on one of the models and I was IN LOVE with it! I eventually decided to photograph it with the intention of making it into a digital textile for future use. This was designed with Krysta to be a custom made piece suitable for competition in 3 meter synchronized diving with partner, Kyndal Knight. Straight up, they won GOLD in their first competition wearing Defiance in Madrid! This was the suit they wore in the semi-finals. The photo of Kyndal from the back was one of the professional shots taken during the semi-finals. Krysta and I worked together for a couple months on design, placement, and colors. While this was the one we settled on, there are many more out there and I will be adding a few more to the site. This textile design has been formatted for competition swimwear.
