Textile Origin Story:

The original Penelope textile is a combination of several distinct layers from different art pieces finished with a final layer of transparent lapis ombré. I did all of that work bringing color to this image and then decided to bleach it out! I ended up really loving this white version. It's not a place I could have gotten to by solely working with the original drawing, "Spinal Cracker." It ends up having this very appealing time worn look to it. With a vertebrae running the full length on the outside of the leg, these are the perfect leggings for a Day of the Dead celebration!
